On-line Work Order Form

   When people call, most often I'm in traffic or planting someone else's lawn.  That's no problem, especially if they're calling for information about what we do.  I wear a headset so I can answer questions while I'm working & driving.  But more often than not, when someone wants to schedule, they have to wait for me to shut down the machine or find a place to pull over.  Those delays also inconvenience people who are waiting for me to show-up. 

    The solution turned out to be allowing customers to fill-out the Work Order "On-Line."  In appreciation for the time it saves me, I'll take $5 OFF if you answer the same questions I'd ask on the phone.  (Your answers are dropped right into my e-mail box on the same "server.")  But if you're not comfortable with that, please call and schedule over the phone.

    Here's how it works:  It's best to call and find out if the day you want is available.  (I don't usually have to stop working to remember which days are open.)  Then fill out this form. Please include an alternate "Time/Date" Choice just in case.  When you hit the submit button, the form will be e-mailed to me, and you will be shown what was sent.  That's all there is to it.

    The next morning, I'll print it out and try to call you to confirm the date and time.  If you're not there, I'll leave a message.  (I might send an e-mail to let you know I got the form and offer "last minute instructions.")  If you don't hear from me within two days, call 480-540-9850 or   (Please make sure to let me know you sent an "On-line Schedule" and include your Name and call-back number.) 

    Please Note: On the old website, every once in a while a form wouldn't go through.  So we switched to a more reliable, more secure Form processer.  This new service has a few security features.  One requires typing a randomly generated word that appears in a box (that spam robots can't read).  Another limits the number of submissions to twice in 1 hour.  That means if you make a mistake and need to submit the form more than twice, it will make you wait an hour.  Thanks.

Directions from:   Try to use Street Names instead of tract names and East & West instead of left & right.  (Example, Higley, South to Baseline, East to Recker, South to Guadalupe, East to house on the right.)  And Please, the truck does not make u-turns well.

Our Warranty requires: (a) An Automatic Sprinkler System that covers evenly & has enough start times, and (b) if you have a problem, your answers to our Troubleshooting Questions indicate you read and at least attempted to follow Our Instructions. 

We're more comfortable if someone is home. (It's no fun if neighbors call the police.) We actually want you to see that we put enough seed in the machine and take the time to put the mulch on evenly. (But we are willing to do it when no-one is home (if you write "I'll leave a check" in the box.)
Who will be home?

We "route" the day's jobs each morning. (Because way too often people wait until the last minute to tell us "it's not ready.") If you call between 8 and 10 AM & I will tell you about when we'll be there.
Normally I will call when I leave the job before yours. Choose the number you want me to call when I am on the way: It could take 15 minutes to an hour and a half to drive to your job. If that's not sufficient, tell me how much notice you need:

WHAT DAY AND TIME WOULD YOU LIKE US TO PLANT YOUR LAWN:
 
    If time of day doesn't matter, I can usually get to most lawns in a few days. If you're willing to accept last-minute notification, I might even be able to do it in a day or two. But keep in mind that I schedule on a first come, first served basis. Even though a lot of people call ahead to make sure the day they want is available, sometimes by the time they submit the form that day is already booked. It's always best to make a 2nd choice for the date and time. If you need me to be there at a specific time, make your second choice about a Week away.

    More people want their lawn planted on a weekend so I won't promise a time-of-day for Saturday jobs, I schedule them to save driving time. Also, I occasionally work on Sundays for an extra $20.

    And please understand that appointment times are approximate, not exact. There's no way to predict traffic, jobs that are bigger or smaller than they're supposed to be, aren't ready, or even delays caused by a slow water source, or even a lot of phone calls.
